I started a new blog. It’s started with a post I was about to publish here, but then it became a new idea for a new blog. I’d like to think I’ll be updating the new blog regularly. Do you know that thing where you set a goal then declare it to the world and that is supposed to make you more likely to stick to your plan to reach your goal? It’s never worked before.
The story so far
I'm from Adelaide, but I'm living in Abu Dhabi right now. One day, I saw a gold leaf four wheel drive. It made me cry.
My first novel, Black Dust Dancing, was published by Wakefield Press in March 2009. It looks like this:

I did that ‘tell people you’ll do something’ thing at the beginning of last year.
By the end of the year I had finished off my manuscript and written the last two chapters of the thesis. I will be submitting before June this year.
